Plantar Fasciitis
- Sharp heel pain with the first steps in the morning
- Pain that improves with walking but returns after rest
- Tenderness at the base of the heel
- Tight Achilles tendon or calf muscles

What Is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It occurs when the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue running along the bottom of your foot from the heel to the toes, becomes irritated and degenerates from repetitive stress.
The hallmark symptom is sharp heel pain with the first few steps in the morning. This typically improves with movement but can return after periods of rest. Left untreated, it can become a chronic, limiting condition.
How We Treat It
We exhaust every conservative and regenerative option before recommending surgery. Most patients respond well to a combination of stretching, orthotics, and regenerative therapies.
- Custom orthotics and footwear modification
- Physical therapy and targeted stretching
- PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections
- Umbilical cord biologic injections for chronic cases
- MLS Class IV laser therapy
- Minimally invasive plantar fascia release, reserved for cases that fail all other approaches
